In preparation for next year’s St. Joseph’s Altar, a Beginner Symbolic Pastry Class is being offered Saturday, August 17, 2019. The class is being taught by Reneé Lauland and Janet Cruppi, co-chairs of the St. Angela Merici St. Joseph Altar Ministry. Two designs will be offered – a heart or a cross. These designs will allow participants to learn how to make the dough, proper support of the pastry, use of fig filling, and a variety of decorative techniques. The dough used in class will be a salt dough. (You will receive the recipe for edible dough as well).
